“Each room is a canvas, budding with potential. I want to tell a story. I seek to make things come to life.”
“What I’m selling is addictive spaces that keep people coming back for more. For commercial projects, this leads to a growth in traffic and word of mouth, which in turn increases revenue and overall success. For residential, it increases quality of life, through heightened comfort, confidence, and overall better relationships.”
Matt Sauer is an interior designer with 10+ years of design experience. While he’s serviced hundreds of clients with custom cabinetry design, he decided in 2025 to branch out and begin designing entire spaces. He puts great emphasis on both color theory and the cohesiveness of the space, while factoring in a myriad of variables, derived from well-versed frameworks: Gestalt Psychology, Color Theory, Philosophy, Metaphysics, and Art History. He is extremely detail-oriented, considering things like the interplay of light and shadow on specific forms and textures, how included elements (like upholstery and area rugs) improve the acoustics of the room, the color and placement of plants, and even the shape of their leaves.
“I don’t want to play it safe - white walls, grey furniture, a pop of color here or there - that really isn’t my style. Some people may like the clinical nature of such a space, but what we surround ourselves with influences who we are. Why would anyone want to be bland?”
“What we surround ourselves with affects our mood, our choices, our dreams, our relationships, and most other aspects of our being. I strive to ensure our surroundings inevitably influence the greater good.”
